Happy To Be Here

Yes even with different people surrounding me I am happy to be here in OZ. Different of course because I left my best friends in UK. It is not easy but I am trying my best to cope and of course enjoy what OZ can offer me and my family. I'm just glad that winter here is warm. And hurray for that :)

hi! if you'll be living in the city, rents are really sky high! if you try to look a few suburbs away, you might get a cheaper place. most accommodation near the city are all apartments or old type queenslander homes. like in the uk, most people here live in the outskirts of brisbane and just catch the train to work. every suburb has its own state school so your kids can go to school anywhere here.

if you need any help with anything, don't hesitate to let me know. my husband and i are glad to help out.

Me too, nagulat that you're there in Australia. I hope you and your family adjust well. I know how it is to leave the place where you've rooted a bit already and same thing that I felt when I left Germany 3 yrs ago.

Hi! Sheila

It's been a while. I'm glad to know you are finally in Australia. Been reading up on your updates and I can imagine how tough it is if you're not yet settled.

Take it easy, everything will fall in to place soon. God bless and good luck!
