Google Money Tree Scam

Have you heard about Google Money Tree? Google Money Tree is one of the biggest scams online today. As what I gather the scam appears to work like this: The victim receives an e mail or sees an ad where placement of a screenshot ads appears to involve the Hydra Network or one of its affiliates offering substantial weekly salary earned by simply posting on google. Then the victim is directed to a download site where they enter their contact information to receive a google money tree kit for free a $3.88 shipping and handling charge applies. Customers who enter their credit card information to order the kit are charged the $3.88 shipping and handling fee. It sounds great. But unfortunately a lot of customers have reported that they receive nothing and are subsequently charged a $72.21 fee for access to the Google Money Tree. When they call to dispute the charge, they are told that they agreed to the monthly fee when they signed up to receive the kit and didn’t call to cancel within seven days. What a scam!

So, if you see an add like the one above beware. The scammers behind the Google Money Tree are using the face of one of the most popular (and respected) affiliate marketers (and bloggers) out there, Jeremy Schoemaker of ShoeMoney.com. Their advertising media features a shot of Jeremy holding a $132,994.97 Google Adsense check. Jeremy has absolutely nothing to do with this scam in any way. Right now, Jeremy is taking legal action against the person illegally using his photo.
