My eldest turned thirteen on the 10th this month. She is officially a teenager. Yay!!! I'm sure it will get more difficult parenting an older kid who is very intelligent not to mention her height who is about 2-3 inches taller than I am. Anyhow, for her birthday persent I cannot think what to get for her so I asked her what's the perfect gifts for teens. Since she likes books she made a lists of five newly release books and gave it to me. That was easy! For her party she wanted to invite some friends for sleep over and I grant her request. The result? A happier teen :D

BUSY!
I had a very hectic schedule this holiday season. I did not had any annual leave this month so I need to fit in all my activities on my day off so Christmas shopping was done so late and I will never do it again. I was stressed and did not choose the best gift for everybody because I did not had enough time and I ended up spending more. Next year I will start Christmas shopping as early as June. By that I can get the best value for my money. I am thinking of maybe getting more personalized like the ship rosary gifts for friends. I promise next year I will be more creative.
Christmas Decor Down!
It's only the 28th here in Oz and our Christmas decoration is already down. I was asleep after a night shift and woke up with all the festive spirit already gone! Oh well at least I don't need to do it :) Mind you we still have gifts that not given to friends including the pretend POS system for kids. How about you? How was your Christmas? Us, we had parties almost everyday and tomorrow some friends are coming again to enjoy our mini resort.
I Want A BIg Car
I want to change to a bigger car and my husband like to add another small car. Hopefully end next year I can swap my car. I want a bigger one for safety. I do a lot of shifts in other hospital and driving in the motorway with a small car is very hazardous. A Jeep Cherookee or a Nissan Murano will do for me ;) I want the Kluger top range as well but it is over my budget. While my other half want to buy a cheap car for work. He used $100 gas every week just to go to work that is why he is thinking that even if he will buy another car, pay up three car insurance/5th wheel insurance and 3 road tax, he will still end up saving money. We will see...
Rock Salt For Safety
Driving in a slippery roads is not fun at all. It is scary and may cause an accident even if you are extra careful. I remember few years back when I was cycling on the way to work one snowy night. I slid on the pathway and almost ended up fracturing all my bones. Luckily I was OK, but I was hurt physically and psychologically. I was there for 15 minutes recovering from the fall and nobody came to help me. I was freezing cold and nobody was around for a stroll. I still went to the hospital not to work but to be a patient :(

Christmas Shopping Not Done
It's the 13th of December and guess what? I haven't done buying all the presents for Christmas. I am working for nine days straight and then my cousin wih her husband and a friend will visit us for 4 days. I'm sure we will be busy for day outs that time. So my plan is to squeeze it in between my nights. Lord please give me strength to do it. Driving and shopping after night shift is not an easy task.
Bulova Watch For Me?
I love watch and I have around 50 collections in different brand and different colors. This Christmas I love to have the new limited edition of bulova watch but because we just had a mortgage and we bought a lot of furniture's recently there's no way I can buy it for myself and there's no way my husband will give me one. So this Christmas I am sure there is nothing for me. But still I will make sure that there will be some for my kids. Christmas is important for children and for adult too if you have extra cash ;)
Lucky To Be In Oz
We are very lucky to be in sunny Australia (not right now because it is raining :) Anyhow, it is sunny most of the time here that is why we love it! One dream that I achieved living here is to own a big house with a big block of land and a pool. We are very lucky to have our dream come true within two years of moving here in Oz. My kids are settled now and they are doing very well at school. Just recently my cousin joined us here and I'm sure with God's help she will find a job soon. So we are now a big happy family, the more the merrier :) Anyway, does anybody knows the best way to cover pool ? My husband is looking for one because he is fed up of cleaning the pool with leaves every morning.
